Our Story
Peak Paws Grooming was started to fill a need: an easy, loving, personalized dog grooming experience for the dog lovers of Missoula. Our goal at Peak Paws Grooming is to foster a welcoming, comfortable, and clean experience for you and your dog. We pride ourselves on open communication and putting the comfort of each individual dog as a high priority, while also using our decades of animal handling experience to accomplish what many other salons can't. We listen, and want to do whatever is best for you and your dog!
At Peak Paws Grooming, a grooming appointment is more than just one hair cut or one bath; it's a commitment to the culmination of grooming experiences for that individual pet, and it's our priority to do everything we can to ensure your pet has the best possible experience.
All the staff at Peak Paws Grooming are pet CPR and First Aid certified, and regularly pursue continuing education and certifications to better serve you and your pet.

Shannon Kimmell
Shannon has had a passion for animals her entire life, which led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Montana State University in 2018. She discovered dog grooming when she started working for PetSmart in 2019, and she loved it so much she can't see herself doing anything else! She graduated from the PetSmart Professional Pet Stylist Academy in 2020.
Her favorite part about dog grooming is really connecting with her clients and their pets, and sharing the love of dogs.

“Hi, my name is Emma. I have always grown up with dogs and currently have one of my own, as well as a horse. Animals and creative works have always been my two main passions in life, and I’ve always yearned to marry the two and find a career in which I can explore those. Dog grooming called to me for that exact reason, especially in a place where I cannot only focus on the grooming, but also creating a positive experience for each individual. I’m very excited to begin my dog grooming career here at Peak Paws Grooming.”
